kontonom Budget Book is an app for keeping a household budget: you define a monthly budget per category, record your bookings by hand, and see what is left. This policy describes which data the app processes and where it goes. The controller under the GDPR is the publisher of the app (contact below).
Your financial data never leaves your device. Budgets, bookings, amounts, categories and notes are stored locally and are not transmitted anywhere — there is no account, no cloud and no synchronisation. The only thing the app sends is a pseudonymous start-up ping described below, which you can switch off.
On a cold start the app sends a single, minimal message to
signet.rypox.net, a service operated by the publisher of the app.
It exists so we can see that installations happen and stay active — the Google
Play Console reports this only per day and with several days of delay. It
contains exactly:
en-GB. The country can be derived from it.
No amounts, no bookings, no categories, no notes, no contact details, no location and no advertising identifier are ever transmitted. The time of receipt is recorded by the server; the request IP address is used transiently to derive a country and is not stored. Transmission is encrypted (HTTPS).
The ping is on by default and can be switched off at any time under Settings → Pseudonymous usage statistics. When you switch it off, one final message records that choice and nothing is sent afterwards. Because the app may send the first-installation message before you reach that switch, it is disclosed here and in the Google Play data safety declaration.
The service is self-hosted on our own infrastructure. No third-party analytics, tracking or advertising provider is embedded in the app, and nothing is passed on to third parties.
The app requests a single permission, internet access, and uses it only for the ping described above. It requests no access to contacts, calendars, storage, location or the camera.
Your budgets and bookings live on your device; uninstalling the app removes them along with the installation identifier, which is the only key that could relate the received messages to one installation. There is no account to delete. For questions about data already received, contact us at the address below.
kontonom Budget Book is aimed at adults and collects no data from children.

kontonom Haushaltsbuch ist eine App zum Führen eines Haushaltsbuchs: Du legst je Kategorie ein Monatsbudget fest, erfasst deine Buchungen von Hand und siehst, was noch übrig ist. Diese Erklärung beschreibt, welche Daten die App verarbeitet und wohin sie gehen. Verantwortlich im Sinne der DSGVO ist der Herausgeber der App (Kontakt siehe unten).
Deine Finanzdaten verlassen das Gerät nicht. Budgets, Buchungen, Beträge, Kategorien und Notizen liegen lokal und werden nirgendwohin übertragen — es gibt kein Konto, keine Cloud und keine Synchronisierung. Das Einzige, was die App sendet, ist der unten beschriebene pseudonyme Start-Ping, und der ist abschaltbar.
Beim Kaltstart sendet die App eine einzige, minimale Nachricht an
signet.rypox.net, einen Dienst des Herausgebers der App. Er
existiert, damit wir sehen, dass Installationen passieren und aktiv bleiben —
die Google Play Console zeigt das nur tagesgenau und mit mehreren Tagen Verzug.
Enthalten ist genau:

Daraus lässt sich das Land ableiten.
Es werden keine Beträge, keine Buchungen, keine Kategorien, keine Notizen, keine Kontaktdaten, kein Standort und keine Werbe-ID übertragen. Den Empfangszeitpunkt hält der Server fest; die Absender-IP wird nur vorübergehend zur Ableitung eines Landes genutzt und nicht gespeichert. Die Übertragung ist verschlüsselt (HTTPS).
Der Ping ist standardmäßig aktiv und jederzeit abschaltbar unter Einstellungen → Pseudonyme Nutzungsstatistik. Beim Ausschalten geht eine letzte Nachricht raus, die diese Entscheidung festhält; danach wird nichts mehr gesendet. Da die App die Nachricht zur Erstinstallation senden kann, bevor du diesen Schalter erreichst, ist sie hier und in der Datensicherheitserklärung bei Google Play offengelegt.
Der Dienst läuft selbstgehostet auf eigener Infrastruktur. In der App ist kein Analyse-, Tracking- oder Werbeanbieter eines Dritten eingebunden, und es wird nichts an Dritte weitergegeben.
Die App fragt eine einzige Berechtigung an, den Internetzugriff, und nutzt sie ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Ping. Sie fragt keinen Zugriff auf Kontakte, Kalender, Speicher, Standort oder Kamera an.
Budgets und Buchungen liegen auf deinem Gerät; die Deinstallation entfernt sie gemeinsam mit der Installationskennung, dem einzigen Schlüssel, über den sich empfangene Nachrichten einer Installation zuordnen ließen. Ein Konto, das gelöscht werden könnte, gibt es nicht. Bei Fragen zu bereits empfangenen Daten wende dich an die unten genannte Adresse.
kontonom Haushaltsbuch richtet sich an Erwachsene und erhebt keine Daten von Kindern.
Wird diese Erklärung angepasst, ändert sich das oben genannte Datum. Die jeweils aktuelle Fassung ist unter dieser Adresse abrufbar.
