These terms apply to the TopCal app (hereinafter "Application") for mobile devices, developed by rypox GmbH (hereinafter "Service Provider"). By installing or using the Application you agree to them. Please read them before you use it.
TopCal is a calendar and task app that runs on your device. Using it does not create an account with the Service Provider. Most of it is free; some features require Pro, which is sold and billed by Google Play, not by us. Your calendars and tasks are yours – we neither hold them nor want them. What the Application does with your data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You may install and use the Application on the devices belonging to you, for private or business purposes. This is a right to use it, not a transfer of ownership: all trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Application remain with the Service Provider.
You may not resell the Application, rent it out, or pass off a modified version as the original. You may not use it to break the law or to interfere with other people's systems or accounts.
Reverse engineering is permitted to the extent the law allows it – in the European Union in particular for interoperability under Article 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC and for error correction under Article 5. Nothing in these terms restricts rights you have by statute.
The Application is free to install and free to use for its core purpose. Some features are reserved for Pro, which is available as a subscription through Google Play and, in some cases, through a voucher issued by the Service Provider.
The Application can keep tasks in step with Google Tasks if – and only if – you connect it yourself under Settings → Tasks and approve the request on Google's own consent screen. That exchange runs directly between your device and your own Google account; it does not pass through the Service Provider. Your use of Google Tasks is also governed by Google's terms. You can disconnect at any time in the same place, and withdraw the access itself in your Google account settings. What exactly is read and written is listed in the Privacy Policy.
The Application uses Google Play Services and, for updates and purchases, the Google Play Store. If you synchronise calendars or tasks over CalDAV, that runs between your device and the server you chose. Each of those has its own terms, which apply to your use of them.
The Application runs on your device and works offline. Features that talk to a server – checking a Pro entitlement, the Google Tasks connection – need a working connection, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee that your network, your device or a third-party service is available. Any data charges from your mobile provider are yours.
The Service Provider may change or discontinue the Application, and may end support for old Android versions. Updates are delivered through the Google Play Store; keeping the Application up to date is up to you, and an outdated version may stop working correctly.
Please keep your device secure. Removing the restrictions of the operating system ("rooting") can expose your device and may stop the Application from working correctly.
The Application is a calendar and task tool, not a guarantee that you will be reminded. Reminders depend on Android, on battery-saving settings and on your device being switched on. Do not rely on it alone where a missed appointment would cause serious harm.
The Service Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to the breach of an obligation that is essential to the purpose of these terms, and to the damage typically foreseeable for such a contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act is unaffected. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer by statute.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will publish changes on this page. Continuing to use the Application after a change means you accept the new version; if you do not, you can stop using it and uninstall it.
These terms are valid as of 04/08/2026.

Diese Nutzungsbedingungen gelten für die App TopCal (im Folgenden „Anwendung") für mobile Geräte, entwickelt von der rypox GmbH (im Folgenden „Anbieter"). Mit der Installation oder Nutzung der Anwendung stimmst du ihnen zu. Bitte lies sie, bevor du die Anwendung nutzt.
TopCal ist eine Kalender- und Aufgaben-App, die auf deinem Gerät läuft. Durch die Nutzung entsteht kein Konto beim Anbieter. Das meiste ist kostenlos; einzelne Funktionen setzen Pro voraus, das über Google Play verkauft und abgerechnet wird, nicht durch uns. Deine Termine und Aufgaben gehören dir – wir haben sie nicht und wollen sie nicht. Was die Anwendung mit deinen Daten macht, steht in der Datenschutzerklärung, die Bestandteil dieser Bedingungen ist.
Du darfst die Anwendung auf deinen Geräten installieren und nutzen, privat wie beruflich. Das ist ein Nutzungsrecht, keine Eigentumsübertragung: Marken-, Urheber- und sonstige Schutzrechte an der Anwendung verbleiben beim Anbieter.
Du darfst die Anwendung nicht weiterverkaufen, vermieten oder eine veränderte Fassung als das Original ausgeben. Du darfst sie nicht nutzen, um gegen Gesetze zu verstoßen oder fremde Systeme oder Konten zu stören.
Rückentwicklung ist zulässig, soweit das Gesetz sie erlaubt – in der Europäischen Union insbesondere zur Herstellung der Interoperabilität nach Artikel 6 der Richtlinie 2009/24/EG und zur Fehlerberichtigung nach Artikel 5. Gesetzliche Rechte werden durch diese Bedingungen nicht eingeschränkt.
Die Anwendung ist kostenlos installierbar und für ihren Kernzweck kostenlos nutzbar. Einzelne Funktionen sind Pro vorbehalten, erhältlich als Abonnement über Google Play und in einzelnen Fällen über einen vom Anbieter ausgegebenen Gutschein.
Die Anwendung kann Aufgaben mit Google Tasks abgleichen – aber nur, wenn du sie unter Einstellungen → Aufgaben selbst verbindest und die Anfrage auf Googles eigenem Zustimmungsbildschirm bestätigst. Der Austausch läuft direkt zwischen deinem Gerät und deinem eigenen Google-Konto, nicht über den Anbieter. Für deine Nutzung von Google Tasks gelten zusätzlich Googles Bedingungen. Trennen kannst du die Verbindung jederzeit an derselben Stelle, den Zugriff selbst widerrufst du in deinen Google-Konto-Einstellungen. Die Anwendung nutzt die Google-Play-Dienste sowie für Updates und Käufe den Google Play Store. Synchronisierst du Termine oder Aufgaben über CalDAV, läuft das zwischen deinem Gerät und dem Server, den du gewählt hast. Für all das gelten jeweils eigene Bedingungen.
Die Anwendung läuft auf deinem Gerät und funktioniert offline. Funktionen, die einen Server ansprechen – die Prüfung einer Pro-Berechtigung, die Google-Tasks-Anbindung – brauchen eine funktionierende Verbindung, und der Anbieter kann nicht dafür einstehen, dass dein Netz, dein Gerät oder ein Drittdienst verfügbar ist. Kosten deines Mobilfunkanbieters trägst du.
Der Anbieter kann die Anwendung ändern oder einstellen und die Unterstützung alter Android-Versionen beenden. Updates kommen über den Google Play Store; die Anwendung aktuell zu halten liegt bei dir, eine veraltete Fassung kann aufhören, richtig zu funktionieren.
Halte dein Gerät bitte sicher. Das Aufheben der Beschränkungen des Betriebssystems („Rooten") kann dein Gerät angreifbar machen und dazu führen, dass die Anwendung nicht mehr richtig arbeitet.
Die Anwendung ist ein Kalender- und Aufgabenwerkzeug, keine Garantie dafür, dass du erinnert wirst. Erinnerungen hängen von Android, von Energiespar-Einstellungen und davon ab, dass dein Gerät eingeschaltet ist. Verlass dich nicht allein darauf, wo ein verpasster Termin ernsthaften Schaden anrichten würde.
Der Anbieter haftet unbeschränkt für Vorsatz und grobe Fahrlässigkeit sowie für die Verletzung von Leben, Körper oder Gesundheit. Bei einfacher Fahrlässigkeit ist die Haftung auf die Verletzung einer Pflicht beschränkt, die für den Zweck dieser Bedingungen wesentlich ist, und der Höhe nach auf den vertragstypisch vorhersehbaren Schaden. Die Haftung nach dem Produkthaftungsgesetz bleibt unberührt. Gesetzliche Verbraucherrechte werden hierdurch nicht eingeschränkt.
Diese Bedingungen können von Zeit zu Zeit aktualisiert werden. Der Anbieter veröffentlicht Änderungen auf dieser Seite. Nutzt du die Anwendung nach einer Änderung weiter, gilt das als Zustimmung zur neuen Fassung; andernfalls kannst du die Nutzung beenden und die Anwendung deinstallieren.
Diese Nutzungsbedingungen sind gültig ab dem 04.08.2026.
Es gilt deutsches Recht, unbeschadet der zwingenden Verbraucherschutzvorschriften des Staates, in dem du wohnst. Bei Fragen zu diesen Bedingungen schreib bitte an support@rypox.com.
