How TopCal works

TopCal uses the calendars already set up on your device – local calendars as well as synced Google or CalDAV accounts. You create events and tasks, set reminders and keep track of everything with day, week and month views plus home screen widgets. Your data stays on your device and in the accounts you configured yourself.

Do I need an account or login?
No. TopCal does not need an account of its own. It uses the calendars already set up on your device.
Where is my data stored?
Your events, tasks and contacts stay on your device and – if you use synced calendars – in the accounts you configured yourself. We have no access to them.
Can I sync with CalDAV or Google?
Yes. TopCal shows and edits the calendars of your Android accounts – CalDAV through DAVx5, for instance, or a Google account you have set up. Android handles the syncing directly with your provider. Which one suits you better is covered in the comparison under Google Calendar or CalDAV?
Is TopCal ad-free?
Yes. TopCal contains no ads and no third-party tracking. Only a minimal, pseudonymous usage signal is sent, and you can switch it off in the settings.
Why does TopCal do without ads?
No ads – not on the home screen, not while creating an event, nowhere. That way you never tap an intrusive ad link by accident and can concentrate on your events and tasks undisturbed.
Are there home screen widgets?
Yes. You can show your next events directly on the home screen using widgets.
What does TopCal cost?
The complete, ad-free base app is free for good – ideal for trying TopCal at your own pace with no time limit. If you want more or would like to support development, you choose the form your contribution takes: a one-off purchase, a prepaid subscription or an auto-renewing subscription. There is a fitting option for everyone – without coercion and without subtle pressure.
